In the second round, 45 districts will be tested flat

The second round of population testing for the presence of COVID-19 disease will be carried out differently. By decision of the Central Crisis Headquarters of the Slovak Republic, the district will be exempted with a number of positive cases below 0.7 percent. It will also not be tested in Bratislava and Košice. In total 45 districts will be tested during 7 and 8 November 2020. In view of the fact that pilot testing and also the first round of sweeping testing have proved to be effective tools in order to prevent the spread of the disease among our inhabitants, it is important not to let go. We need to stabilise all regions and we cannot be satisfied with the good situation in some parts of Slovakia.
