Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic under the Act576/2004 Coll. on health care, health care services and amending certain lawsand regulation with effect from 1.10. 2024 to 31.12. 2024 in the pursuit of activities pursuant to paragraph 45 (1) (a). (am) by means of a separate establishment as provided for in paragraph 45 (5), centrally coordinates management processes, guides and controls providers holding a hospital authorisation and listed in the hospital list referred to in paragraph 45 (6).
The list of hospitals to the extent the name of the hospital, the address of the hospital operator, the identification number of the hospital operator's organisation, if any, and the legal form of the hospital operator shall be published by the Ministry of Health on its website by 31 October each year with effect from 1 January of the following calendar year.

Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic for the purpose of fulfilling the provisions of § 45 of Act No. 576/2004 Coll. on health care, services related to the provision of health care and amending certain laws hereinafter referred to as "Law No. 576/2004' With effect from 1.1.2025, the list of health establishments in which protective treatment is carried out shall be as set out in § 45 (a). (ap) that law and publish it on its website.
The list of medical devices ensuring the performance of protective treatment contains data within the meaning of § 45a (2) (a). (a) to (f) of Law No 576/2004 Z. z. z.
On the basis of an agreement between the Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic and the Ministry of Justice of the Slovak Republic in order to find up-to-date information on the available bed capacity of the medical facility dedicated to the performance of protective treatment and in order to find up-to-date information on the available bed capacity of the medical facility earmarked for persons with a preliminary order to place the accused person in the healthcare facility, it is necessary to communicate individually with the individual healthcare facilities via the contact persons listed by the medical institution.
