The Slovak Republic represented by the Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic decided to build a new university hospital in Martin on the basis of the Slovak Government Resolution No. 441 of 01.07.2022. Attribute to this hospital is the nature of a "research hospital" which should be a driver of research, development and innovation in health care. In addition to top-level medical-preventional care and provision of education for students of medical and non-medical study programmes, the hospital will be a fundamental part of the innovation ecosystem of the Slovak Republic in biomedical research and development.
Project objective
The aim of the project is to prepare the best possible documentation not only for the future contractor of the construction of the hospital as well as for the future operator of the hospital building in order to achieve the maximum value of the investment but also future operating costs incurred during the entire life cycle of the building.
The project will be implemented through one main activity. In this way MZ SR would like to point to the possibility of using innovation and cooperation in the preparation of technical documentation of the hospital.
On the way to the construction of new hospitals, all developed countries have chosen to understand that the reconstruction will change design, but the processes necessary to meet all the required aspects of modern health will change only minimally. The aim of the project is therefore to change this trend and prepare for the construction of a hospital that will represent all the attributes of the 21st century health care.
