From 1 July 2024, outpatient standby shall be provided:
- for adults on working days from 16 to 22 hours and on working days from 7 to 22 hours
- for children and adolescents in working days from 16 to 20 hours and on working days from 8 to 20 hours
Outpatient emergency services shall serve in particular in cases of sudden change in health which does not immediately endanger life. Thus, for cases where a patient would normally use the services of a general physician.
Look out! Outpatient emergency services are not due to severe conditions such as heart attacks or serious injuries, such patients are immediately cared for by urgent hospital incomes, if necessary directly called ambulance
Institutional emergency services - also known as emergency reception - are healthcare services ensuring the continued availability of hospital institutional care in case of life-threatening conditions or serious injuries
Patient fee 2 euros for visiting ambulatory emergency services
Free of charge on outpatient emergency services are patients immediately after the injury. But beware, the exemption from the charge does not apply if the injury was proven to be due to the use of alcohol, drugs or medicine taken in a different way than the doctor recommended.
Nor does the ambulatory emergency apply to an insured person who has subsequently been hospitalised or, in the case of a minor child and the provision of care, to the institution in which the child is placed on the basis of a decision of the court or body of the social protection of children and social curately.

Yes, in the case of health problems, he can choose the nearest office of his/her permanent residence.

Prolonged cough, cold, prolonged mild abdominal pain, short-term reduced stools
- Where to turn after 22:00?
In serious conditions, patients are provided with a hospital emergency care facility and emergency medical care vehicles providing continuous emergency medical care when a sudden change in health status occurs
