The Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic published on 15.7.2011 in the Journal of the Slovak Republic, Volume 17, The Year 59 expert guidance on the doctor's procedure for informing a parent or the legal representative of a child with a disability and on the importance of parent involvement in educational, psychological and special-educational assistance and prevention provided by special-pedagogical centres. The procedure includes information about the operation of advisory centres, helping specialised non-profit institutions and civic associations, the list of which is listed on the websites of MZ SR (www.mzsr.sk/integrated) and UIPŠ (www.uips.sk).
