Subject of the meeting:
Discussion of the application to include Kanuma in the list categorised
medicines submitted to the electronic portal MZ SR 30.4.2020.
The purpose of the meeting was to inform representatives of MZ SR about the medical benefit of this medicinal product in therapeutic practice. KANUMA is indicated for long-term enzyme replacement therapy (ERT) in lysosomal deficient patients acid lipase (LAL) and is used to treat a disease in which the number of patients according to the prevalence of the disease in Slovakia is less than 1:50,000.
Head of the Department of Pharmacovigilance, Ing. Mária Drábeková, PhD., stated that on the basis of the above facts, the SR concluded the negotiations in accordance with current legislation. ed
