He stated that the ZDS expressed Concern about the conclusions of the Categorisation Commission for Medicinal Products applicable from 1 October 2012 which increased the cost of insulin analogues for diabetics. He stressed that treatment of diabetes mellitus was associated with increased expenditure on families of patients and with all medical advice often financially demanding. In many cases these families are unable to financially manage the operation of the household even at minimal cost. Especially children they cannot or could not influence or prevent their illness.
