The meeting took place on the initiative of the Ministry of Health, which, in cooperation with the Ministry of Finance, initiates proceedings matters of comparison of the officially determined prices of medical devices to 1.1.2016. Representatives of SK-MED were invited to the active debate comparison of officially determined prices of medical devices and details the pending proceedings.

Dr. Adam Hlôška,

  1. He welcomed the participants and presented the meeting program.

  2. He presented the legal basis for the comparison procedure with an officially designated the price of medical devices, its timetable and the right offences resulting from non-compliance with applicable legislation.

  3. He launched a discussion of the stakeholders on the issues.

Representatives of SK-MED,

  1. They drew attention to manufacturers of medical devices and their representatives who do not communicate with MZ SR via electronic portal Categorisation.

  2. They called for a debate on verifiable data sources for officially determined prices medical devices.

Representatives of MF SR,

  1. Suggested disclosure of verifiable data sources for the prices of medical devices in other Member States, in the Notice to initiate the comparison procedure official prices of medical devices.

  2. They drew attention to differences in medical devices defined by the supplement Medical devices in individual Member States (package size) medical devices, sensitivity devices for incontinence patients).

  3. Initiating unification of the underlying factors of health comparison devices for other Member States.
