The meeting took place at the request of Sanofi.

The meeting was opened by the Director General of the Department of Pharmacy and Drug Policy MUDr. Adam Hlôška.

Sanofi:

The company submitted an application to remove 93706 from the list of categorised medicines.

MZ SR:

The Marketing Authorisation Holder with SUKL code 93706 submitted an application for withdrawal of Imovax Rabies Vero (VERORAB). On this basis, the Ministry asked the main specialist of MZ SR for an expert opinion on the application for epidemiology. The main expert stated that, since there is no other replacement for this vaccine in the same ATC group's categorisation list, she recommended an accelerated resolution. On this basis, the Ministry issued a decision which did not comply with this withdrawal request.

Sanofi:

They will look for a way to ensure that Verorab is included in the list of categorised medicines, even with another SUKL code.
