The meeting took place at the request of Servier.

The meeting was opened by the Director of the Classification Division and pricing, Mgr. Miriam Vuleva

Servier:

The pharmaceutical company intends to apply for Conditional inclusion of Lonsurf in the list of categorised medicinal products. Servier presented the benefits of the medicine for patients and the possibility of participation in the reimbursement of the price of the medicinal product after the end of medical treatment by the insurance undertaking.

MZ SR:

The Ministry considers that current legislation does not address the co-financing model for the reimbursement of continued treatment in patients. V the amendment to Law No 363/2011 is currently being prepared Z.z. on the scope and conditions for reimbursement of medicinal products, medical devices and dietetic foods for on the basis of public health insurance and amending certain Laws, as amended, which will cover inter alia: new models of how to pay the price of the medicine and possible participation pharmaceutical companies. The Ministry will proceed with the request received in accordance with current legislation.
