Point 1.
Ing. Ferko informed the audience of the intention of the AOSP to submit the material with analysis the situation of citizens with hearing impairment at personal meetings with representatives of individual departments.

Point 2.
The material submitted shall consist of the following parts:

  1. genetic prevention of hearing disability

  2. Early Hearing Disability Diagnostic System

  3. cooperation with special pedagogical counseling and AOSP in specific cases of proposals for cochlear implant operations

  4. the information system in practice and specialised practitioners' offices and hospitals

  5. medical devices – headphones and accessories

  6. Information of public health administrations

Point 3.
Due to the width of the material range, the Department of Pharmacy and Drug Policy of the Slovak Republic may comment on Part 3 and Section 5 of the material submitted.

To Section 3. cooperation with special pedagogical counseling and AOSP in SFLP is interested in specific cases of proposals for cochlear implant operations the following opinion:
Cochleary implants are subject to a classification of special medical materials resulting from Act 363/2011 Z.Z. By virtue of that law, for the purposes of categorisation established by the XG Otorinolaryngology expert group, chaired by MUDr. Marián Sičák, PhD. Cochleary implants will be in Electronic categorisation process included in the list of special Health materials together with prescriptive and indicative materials restrictions. The categorisation process is electronic, publicly available also for AOSP comments, which may be after registration on the electronic portal the parties. MZ SR is ready to initiate as well Round table meeting with AOSP, expert working group at Categorisation Committee for Special Medical Materials, Health insurance undertakings as well as other experts invited, including representatives suppliers.
This section will be discussed at the November meeting. Categorisation committee for special medical materials.

To Part 5. Medical aids - headphones and accessories interested in SFLP the following opinion:
Categorisation of audioprotetic medical devices also takes place in the form of electronic categorisation under Act 363/2011 Z.Z.
The AOSP will be discussed at the November meeting of the Categorisation Commission for medical devices. Active participation of AOSP is possible through the electronic portal and, where appropriate, the invitation to a meeting of the CEC and other persons on the basis of point 13 of Art. III the status of the categorisation panel for medical devices available on Website MZ SR.

Point 4.
The Department of Pharmacy and Drug Policy will withdraw the material of the AOSP to the Ministry's office. of the Slovak Republic for its further solution in the relevant sections of MZ SR.
