The Minister of Health of the Slovak Republic Kamil Šaško today appreciated the crew of the Rescue Health Service NsP Brezno, who carried the winning gold from the 29th year of the prestigious international competition Rallye Rejvíz 2026 in the Czech village Loučná nad Desnou. Four-member team of paramedics in international competition proved their professionalism, interplay and expertise.
In this story, I am fascinated not only by the victory itself but also by the path that led to it. They are young people who do not form one crew in the daily service, but they have combined their desire to move on, learn and represent Slovakia. They decided to devote their leisure time to demanding preparation, created a team and managed to win international competition. It is proof of their talents, determination and enthusiasm for rescue. I am extremely proud of them. Their success is proof that we have a young generation of health professionals that we can confidently look to the future. said Health Minister Kamil Šaško.
The winning crew of Adam Lofaj, Adrián Katreniak, Tobias Cabát and Janka Kružliak, who was in such competition for the first time, confirmed their professional readiness, ability to cope with difficult situations and effective cooperation under time pressure. During competitive disciplines, they had to demonstrate not only professional knowledge and practical skills, but also the ability to make proper decisions in critical situations. It is another successful Slovak rescue crew at this competition. In the Rapid Medical Assistance category the rescue crew from Trenčín won the third victory.
Rallye Rejvíz is one of the most recognized professional events in the field of pre-hospital emergency health care, and every year the top crews of emergency services from several countries of the world meet. Success at the Rally Rejvíz is a confirmation of the high level of pre-hospital emergency health care in Slovakia and also positively represents Slovak health in the international environment.
