The Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic regulates the terms and conditions of three calls from the Recovery and Resilience Plan announced under Component 12: Human, Modern and Available Mental Health Care. The formal requirements are changed - the extension of the opening by one month and two of the calls extended the eligible applicants. The resort responds to requirements and experience from practice in order to allow for a wider range of applicants to be mobilised and to facilitate the submission of applications.
All three challenges respond to the need to promote mental health care. In the call Completion of specialized centres for autistic spectrum disorders changes in content have occurred. The applicant's professional focus has been removed under the conditions of eligibility. It can request funds from a healthcare provider after a new one. Initially the conditions also required professional orientation: psychiatry, child psychiatry, psychology or therapeutic pedagogy. The newly established PAS centres will be demonstrated after the change by an honorary statement showing the fulfilment of the condition to have a professional guarantor. This will extend the applicant's circle and simplify conditions.
For the call "Creating psycho-social centres" the closing date has been postponed to 31 March 2023. Similarly, in this case, it will be sufficient to fulfil one of the conditions that the applicant is an existing healthcare provider. The Ministry sees the deletion of the need to declare the applicant's specialised expertise as beneficial for increasing the potential number of potential applicants.
The deadline for closing the call is postponed one month later -Completion of network of psychiatric staff. In this way, eligible applicants may apply for funding until 31 March 2023. The objective of the Ministry is to meet applicants who, for some reason, have not been able to apply for funds within the original deadline.
