On 30 June 2004, the Government of the Slovak Republic approved by Resolution No 644 a list of budgetary organisations and contributory organisations designed to convert into non-profit organisations providing general services. The list included:
Rescue service Košice
and on 18 August 2004 the Government of the Slovak Republic supplemented the list by Resolution No 808.

The deadline for submission of the transformation proposal drawn up pursuant to § 4 (1) of Law No 13/2002 Coll. is 15 days after the publication of the information in the Commercial Journal.
The transformation project can be familiarized with the directorate of individual health establishments.
