On the basis of the above, the ÚKDaS requested a separate letter from that person to inform the person who would be the representative of him of his death under the Law on Petitions. However, MZ SR did not receive a reply from this person.
When dealing with the petition, the ÚKDaS requested a separate letter dated 21.09.2020 within a specified period by the statutory body FNsP Prešov for cooperation within the meaning of § 6a (2) of the Law on Petitions. Director of the FNsP In the letter of 17.9.2020 to the MZ SR, Prešov stated that a meeting on the subject matter of the petition with three persons who supported their signature of the petition in question took place in the FNsP Prešov on 11.9.2020. At this meeting, the FNsP Prešov informed the persons concerned that it was considering moving the unit COVID-19 due to the increase in the capacity of the bed section of the department as a backup for the second wave of epidemic, if the increase in patients was so large that the current capacity would not be sufficient. The letter further stated that the management of the FNsP Prešov assured those involved that all measures were implemented in coordination with the PRCE Prešov to ensure the safety of all patients and healthcare professionals. Following the request of the MZ SR for cooperation, the director of the FNsP Prešov stated in a letter dated 29.10.2020 to the MZ SR that, following the conclusions of the meeting of 11.9.2020, he initiated another meeting which took place on 23.9.2020 in the FNSP Prešov with the participation of four persons who supported the petition in question, the representative of the dialysis centre LOGMAN a.s., Prešov and representatives of the FNSP Prešov. Prešov, designated as PEtition against the formation of the Covid-19 department in the geriatric Pavilion Hospital with Polyclinic in Prešov The responsibility for setting up the COVID-19 unit in the FNsP Prešov is entirely the responsibility of the management of the FNsP Prešov, which is responsible for ensuring the safety of all patients and medical staff.
