Main tasks:
Specialized activities in the area of the classification and pricing of medical devices consisting of analytical and synthetic activities, evaluation of results and preparation of documentation for decision-making in the Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic.
Standard-setting activities, conceptual and systemic activities in the development of measures with responsibility for decisions with all-social implications; preparation of factual documents in the development of general binding legislation at the level of the Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic in the field of the classification of medical devices; training of documentation in decision-making at the first stage of administrative proceedings in particularly complex cases; creation and coordination of concepts in the field of the classification of medical devices; handling of complaints in the field of the classification of medical devices.
It coordinates the work of the classification commissions working in the field of medical devices; it participates in draft legislation on medical devices; it makes substantive decisions on the classification of medical devices.
