Main tasks:
Specialized activities in the field of the classification and pricing of medicinal products consisting of analytical and synthetic activity, evaluation of results and preparation of documentation for decision-making in the Ministry of Health.
Standard-setting activities, conceptual and systemic activity in the development of measures with responsibility for decisions with all-social implications; preparation of material in the development of general binding legislation at the level of the Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic in the field of classification and pricing of medicinal products; training in decision-making at first stage of administrative proceedings in particularly complex cases; creation and coordination of concepts in the field of classification and pricing of medicinal products; handling of complaints in the field of classification and pricing of medicinal products.
It coordinates the work of the classification and pricing commissions of medicinal products; it participates in proposals for legislation on the classification and pricing of medicinal products; it draws up substantive decisions relating to the classification and pricing of medicinal products.
