The Ministry of Health has launched a selection procedure for the operation of 76 adult emergency ambos and 40 children's and adolescents' emergency ambos. The invitation to tender shall run from 26 March 2024 and candidates may submit applications until 27 May 2024.
The Ministry of Health shall set up selection panels to evaluate applications for authorisation to operate emergency ambulances. The main criteria are personal security, material and technical equipment, financial security of operation of the ambulance and project of operation. If no candidate is successful in the tender procedure, the Slovak MZ announces the second tender within 6 months of the first one.
