On Friday, 24 January, the General Health Insurance Institution (HIC) became the subject of a massive cyber attack. Despite the attack there has been no leak of the data of insured persons, they are still highly protected, healthcare is not compromised.
The GTC is aware of the importance of the processing and storage of insured persons' health data, so the protection of personal data pays maximum attention and implements measures to strengthen cybersecurity. The GZP is actively monitoring the negative trend of cyber attacks for which it has adopted a set of security measures. Thanks to this, she was able today to reverse the attack of such magnitude and protect the data of her policyholders.
