pursuant to Paragraph 14 of Law No 578/2004 Z.z. on healthcare providers, health workers, health professional organisations and amending certain laws as amended

announces the selection procedure

for the issue of a permit to operate an ambulance of a helicopter emergency medical service:

  1. ambulance of helicopter emergency medical services at the seat of Bratislava
  2. helicopter rescue ambulance at the headquarters of Banská Bystrica
  3. helicopter rescue ambulance at Nitra headquarters
  4. helicopter rescue ambulance at Žilina headquarters
  5. helicopter rescue ambulances at the seat of Poprad
  6. helicopter rescue ambulance at the seat of Košice
  7. helicopter rescue ambulance at Trenčín headquarters

Detailed requirements and criteria for applying for an authorisation to operate an ambulance of a helicopter emergency medical service shall include the conditions for the selection procedure for the issue of a helicopter rescue ambulance permit', which may be collected at the Secretariat of the Head Office of the Ministry of Health on working days from 10.00 to 14.00. The selection procedure for the authorisation to operate an ambulance of a helicopter's emergency medical service shall be declared for each declared seat of the helicopter's emergency medical service separately, i.e. applications shall be submitted separately for each declared station seat.

Adoption of tender conditions: from 03 May 2013

Period for lodging applications: until 03 July 2013
The date of filing on the postmark is decisive.

The selection panel shall invite participants who fulfil the conditions of the selection procedure to tender in writing at least 7 days before the start of the selection procedure.

Applications for an invitation to issue a permit to operate an ambulance of a helicopter emergency medical service shall be made in writing in the Slovak language in two copies inserted into one envelope. Applications shall be certified by the signature and stamp of the tenderer. The cover with the application must be secured against possible premature opening, must include a warning "Selection procedure for the issue of a helicopter rescue ambulance permit - DO NOT ACKNOWLEDG" with the address of the sender, identification number and name of the organisation, name, surname, title for the individual. The envelope shall also include the seat of the ZZS-station. Envelopes with applications which arrive after the deadline shall not be included in the tender. Envelopes with applications that do not contain all the required data will be excluded from the tender procedure. Applications shall be delivered by registered mail. Personal service at the address of the notifier is inadmissible, requests thus received shall be excluded from the selection procedure.
The tenderer shall not reimburse the tenderers for any costs associated with participating in the selection procedure.
The issuer reserves the right to:

  1. The notified selection procedure shall be cancelled and terminated without the designation of the participant who has best met the selection criteria for each designated helicopter emergency medical establishment separately.
  2. The amendment to the invitation to tender shall be notified by the manner in which the invitation to tender is launched.
  3. In the case of non-compliant applications, reject all applications and terminate the selection procedure as unsuccessful, for each declared seat separately.

By submitting an application, the tenderer shall give his consent to the terms of the invitation to tender.
