In all regional cities in Slovakia there are already large-capacity mobile demand points (MOM) that perform testing at COVID-19. They were introduced into operation in Bratislava, Trenčín, Banská Bystrica, Žilina, Nitra, Trnava, Prešov and most recently in Košice. Each MOM is able to test hundreds of people every day. The Ministry of Health considers the extension of testing capacities to be an important step in the fight against coronavirus. Thanks to large-scale mobile demand points, we are ready for massive testing throughout Slovakia. We have increased our capacity so that we can test up to 7 500 people a day. said Health Minister Marek Krajčí. It is necessary to complete the electronic form at www.korona.gov.sk before testing. This form will generate the so-called COVID-pass for each candidate for testing. Anyone who registers will receive a message within 72 hours of the date and place of testing at COvid-19. This SMS message or COVID-pass shall be shown at the sampling point. If we want to cope with the second wave of epidemics, we must all be responsible to ourselves and to our surroundings. In case of contact with a positive person or after returning from a risk country, it is particularly important to observe a 5-day incubation period before testing. During these 5 days, contact with the surrounding area should be minimised and kept in home isolation. Only then can COVID-19 be detected with certainty when tested, added Mark Krajčí. After testing, the result should be delivered within 96 hours. Citizens who receive a positive SMS must remain in mandatory quarantine or domestic isolation. All further instructions on how to proceed are also on the web: https://korona.gov.sk/obligatory-domaca-karantena/
