The 5th year of the Slovak Republic was held in Bratislava on 10. 11. 2016 conferences on rare diseases organised by prof. Dr Laszlo Kovácsom, DrSc, MPH, President of Congress and Head of the II. Children's Clinic LF UK and DFNsP in Bratislava. The conference was ceremonially opened (on the right photo) by the President Commission of MZ SR for rare diseases

MUDr. M. Hurná, who remarked in the opening address o.i.: ÞMZ Slovakia is not the issue of patients with rare diseases in Slovakia indifferent, as evidenced by several parallel national and international projects into which MZ SR is involved and which have in close co-operation with the clinical department to improve health caring for patients with rare diseases, as this group patients do not have it many times within several consecutive generations easy at all, and every help they receive is gratefully received.
Those case reports were not often highlighted in practice patients with rare diseases.
Rich discussion combined with innovative options for diagnosis and treatment rare diseases justify this conference in future years.
