Zuzana Dolinková, the Minister of Health of the Slovak Republic, has today appointed Tatiana Červeňová as the main health care professional of the Slovak Republic, which will be run by the Public Health Office of the Slovak Republic (ÚVZ SR). John Mikas ends at this position on February 14, 2024.
Into the leadership of the ÚVZ SR comes a new impulse, not only professional but also managerially. We have considered this change longer. Since there are only a few qualified professionals in the field of public health in Slovakia, the selection of the new major hygiene was not easy. The fact that this really is a professional exchange is also evidenced by the fact that Mikas, the former chief health officer, himself appreciated the qualification knowledge and practice of his successor," said Minister of Health Zuzana Dolinková on Wednesday before the government meeting.
Tatiana Červeňová is a graduate of the Jesséni Medical Faculty of Comenius University in Martin, in the field of general medicine. He has been at the Regional Public Health Office in Martin since 1993. He comes to the position of the main sanitary department in order to restore trust in the office and increase credit to professional and general public, as well as synergies in the investigation of the management of the pandemic in Slovakia.
