In recent months, the University Hospital Bratislava has reconstructed several of its workplaces and other projects concerning the modernisation of the premises and the purchase of equipment are currently under development. Important investments include complex reconstruction of the outpatient tract V. internal clinic LF UK and UNB in Ružinov Hospital.

The outpatient tract consists of offices of the department of non-invasive cardiovascular diagnosis, gastroenterological, hepatic department and investigation rooms. Ambulances serve mainly for the investigation of hospitalized patients and patients who remain in the dispensary care of doctors V. internal clinic LF UK and UNB. The outpatient tract has undergone a comprehensive reconstruction worth almost EUR 320 000. Within the Ružinov Hospital UNB from their own resources and together with the Faculty of Medicine of Comenius University, they organized and remanded the Clinic of oral, jaw and facial surgery LF UK and UNB, where new dental and technical armchairs for greater patient comfort and more opportunities for doctors to perform more modern procedures are dominant.

–Today's opening of a completely renovated V. internal clinic at Ružinov Hospital is exactly the type of news I want as a minister to see and hear. This is concrete evidence that we are moving the quality of healthcare forward in our largest hospital by systematic, action and investment, such as this one for almost 320 thousand euros. This is not the only project. I observe and appreciate that the hospital administration is actively using all available resources to modernize - whether we are talking about completed works at the IV. surgical and internal clinic in Petržalka, or the ongoing complex reconstruction of psychiatric department for more than 700 thousand Euro. Any such investment, small or large, directly translates into a better environment for the patient and more modern conditions for our healthcare professionals. We will continue these efforts. said Kamil Šaško, Minister of Health of the Slovak Republic.

St. Cyril and Methodius Hospital in Petržalka continues the gradual renovation of individual workplaces and the modernisation of equipment. Over the last month, several workplaces with a total value of 2 million have been completed. 434 thousand. EUR. Among the most important investments are the revitalization of the II. surgical clinic LF UK and UNB, the partial reconstruction of the IV. internal clinic LF UK and UNB, the repair of facade and the replacement of windows in the building pathology worth almost EUR 671 000, the sanitation of premises for hazardous waste disposal equipment, the construction of the PV plant and the complex reconstruction of the Psychiatric Department worth 702 000 EUR. The eye clinic of SZU and UNB also awaits a complex reconstruction with extension of the bed part of the workplace. At the beginning of March there is a planned renewal of the Department of Long - Suffering in Petržalka Hospital.

Such modernisation of the premises, which enhances the comfort of our patients in particular and in some cases also increases capacity, is extremely important and I am very pleased that we are succeeding in gradually implementing all the plans that we have set ourselves. I consider the purchase of three new CT devices and three MR devices to be operational in the middle of the second half of 2026 to be the most important investment that we have managed to deliver. said Alexander Mayer, director of University Hospital Bratislava.

By order of the Government of the Slovak Republic, the University Hospital Bratislava was allocated funds from the Recovery Plan following a direct call from the Ministry of Transport. The government approved 10.5 million for the hospital. EUR for the reconstruction of the Infectious Pavilion and the hospital clinic building in Kramáry. This funding is intended to reconstruct the external parts of buildings such as roofs, façade and windows. Construction work at the Infectious Pavilion at the Academy Hospital. L. Derera on the Kramáry has progressed considerably, repairing the roof, facade, balconies and windows. The reconstruction of the geriatric pavilion at the Academic Hospital is also ongoing in the preparatory phase of the tender. L. Derera in the Kramars.

I very much welcome this reconstruction of the V. internal clinic LF UK and UNB. It is the department of non-invasive cardiology and the gastro-hepatic department. They are workplaces where diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular and gastrointestinal diseases are carried out, namely care for patients with the most frequent and severe internal diseases. Our patients and employees deserve these new and nicely renovated premises. I believe that soon there will also be reconstruction of the cot part of V. internal clinic LF UK and UNB. added Juraj Payer, head of the V. internal clinic LF UK and UNB.
