Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic prepared amendment of Act No. 580/2004 Z. z. according to which refugees from Ukraine will be entitled to emergency health care for the first 30 days after entering the territory of Slovakia. This urgent healthcare will be paid by the healthcare provider through the VšZP, a.s.
After 30 days of entry, they will continue to receive urgent medical care if they request temporary refuge in the territory of the Slovak Republic.
Given the current situation, it is already possible to provide such urgent health care with the contractual health care providers of VšZP, a. s., as well as its reimbursement.
