The Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic in cooperation with the Northern Ireland Public Sector Enterprises Limited (NI-CO) has prepared the project "Improvement of Working Time Organisation in the Health Sector" (hereinafter referred to as "Improving the organisation of working time in the health sector" (hereinafter referred to as "Implementation of Working Time Organisation").
Within the framework of this twinning project, free training seminars and human resources workshops will be held under the guidance of NI-CO experts from the UK.
Participation in seminars and workshops is counted for the purpose of evaluation of ongoing training of health workers according to the Decree of the Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic
no 366/2005 Coll. on the criteria and method of evaluation of the continuing training of healthcare professionals, as amended.
The target group shall comprise:
- managers at each stage of management,
- staff of human resources departments,
- quality managers,
- employees' representatives,
- employees whose activities relate to the work of human resources.

A set of seminars and workshops - for a total duration of 12 days - will cover topics related to staff policy making and its practical application and implementation in health organisations in daily practice.
The set of 12 day seminars and workshops is divided into four 3-day training sessions, which will take place gradually during the months of March to June 2008 with the same content in Bratislava, Košice and Banská Bystrica.

The beginning of workshops in Bratislava, Košice and Banská Bystrica is about 9 a.m. with presentation of participants 8:30 p.m.
