Minister of Health of the Slovak Republic Zuzana Dolinková calls on the opposition led by a member of the Slovak Republic T. Szalay (SASka) to stop spreading lies and lies that polarize Slovak society in the middle of summer.
We have witnessed five lies today, which I have explained following the discussion of the Committee for Health of the OR. In the evening another, sixth Szalay lie appeared. It can be seen that instead of solutions, they are closer to reducing themselves to cheap lies, and the Minister for Health states.
Dolinková today answered the media at a press conference entitled ""5 lies of SASky" what is the truth about the Cardiology Department in the Faculty Hospital in Trenčín, repair of the water supply pipe, why it is necessary to repair the plan for VZP, how the implementation of the Recovery and Resilience Plan in Slovak health and the situation in the outpatient sector is progressing, as well as the strategy of MZ SR in the implementation of the Programme Statement of the Slovak Government 2023 – 2027.
I can't help but wonder how rude Mr. Szalay prepared another, sixth lie for us this afternoon. I strongly urge that he really stop manipulating the already strengthened credibility of our citizens and not to gamble on the health of innocent people, responds Dolinková to Szalaya, who at a press conference informed about the suspension of the upcoming health performance catalogue, which aims to streamline and in particular reduce waiting times for patients for medical procedures and surgery.
I hereby also call on the President of the Bratislava self-governing region of Juraj Droba to remove Tomáš Szalay from his post as the chief physician of the region. This person, on the one hand, defends the rights of patients, took the Hippocratic oath, but on the other hand, he deceiving and misleading people and doctors themselves. It spreads untruths, panic, and stress that conflict with ethical and decent morality. The catalog of MZ SR works intensively, it is not true that the works were suspended from lack of financial or other resources or capacity, added Z. Dolink.
This catalogue should comprehensively reflect current needs of Slovak patients, MZ SR plans to publish it in the coming days. The pilot section should be operational in autumn 2024 and gradually implemented into full operation.
