Under the Framework Agreement between the Government of the Slovak Republic and the Swiss Federal Council on the implementation of the Second Swiss Contribution selected by the Member State of the European Union to reduce economic and social disparities within the European Union of 19 September 2023, the Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic concluded with the Ministry of Investment, Regional Development and Informatics of the Slovak Republic on 1 April 2025. Project contract for the implementation of the project under the support measure At the same time, partnership agreements were signed to implement the project with the Slovak Public Health Office and 8 regional public health authorities.
Project titled Strengthening the management of prevention of non-communicable diseases and health promotion in Slovakia (predefined project MZ SR), which aims to reduce avoidable mortality and preventable non-communicable diseases, will also be implemented in cooperation with Swiss partner RADIX, Swiss Health Foundation.
