On Monday, 19 February 2024, Minister of Health, Zuzana Dolink, accepted the special and empowered ambassador of the Republic of North American Republic, Evgenija Illiev. The subject of the joint discussion was possible to expand cooperation in the field of health.
The bilateral cooperation between both countries is smooth and open. We welcome the interest of North Macedonia in deepening mutual cooperation on health and medicine, Zuzana Dolinková said.
As far as cooperation from the Slovak Republic is concerned, Northern Macedonia is included in the Mid-Term Development Cooperation Strategy 2019-2023, which was extended to 2024, as one of the partner countries in which several sectors participate in the systematic delivery of development aid to the country. They implement projects in different areas, thus helping Northern Macedonia meet EU criteria in the accession process.
