Guide to the method of invoicing of medical devices included in the list of categorised special medical materials from 1.10.2015

List of classified special medical materials issued on 1.10.2015 is extended by Special medical materials for Intervention radiology.
List of classified special medical materials under Law 363/2011 Z.z. on the scope and conditions of reimbursement of medicinal products, medical devices and dietetic foods on the basis of public health insurance pursuant to § 44 (4) the Ministry shall publish on its website on the first day of the calendar quarter at all times.
The supplier of special medical materials shall indicate on the invoice to the healthcare provider the code MZ SR assigned to the medical device in the process of classification following the application for the inclusion of the medical device in the list of classified special medical materials and the official price of the medical device submitted to the Ministry by the medical device manufacturer pursuant to § 45 of Law 363/2011 Z.Z.
The code MZ SR begins with the letter X followed by five digits e.g. X02921. The obligation to indicate on the invoice also the code assigned by the State Medical Control Institute remains. Other particulars shall be entered on the invoice in the usual manner so far.
