The Office of Public Health of the Slovak Republic (ÚVZ SR) and the Council of Youth of Slovakia, which covers youth organisations (RmS), express a common interest in active and close communication in organizing recovery events for children and young people.
SPA SR and RmS stress that they strive to meet the necessary requirements so as to maintain the protection of children's health and to be feasible in practice for all organizers.
The aim of both parties is to ensure a proper understanding of the requirements of the legislation and therefore the Office of Public Health of the Slovak Republic is fully available to the Council of Youth of Slovakia in the interpretation of laws, decrees and methodological guidelines concerning the organisation of recovery events.
The common interest of the ÚVZ SR and RmS is that children spend their summers in healing events healthy, joyful and satisfied and return to their home.
The SR and RmS ÚVZ identified as a key correct communication and a timely and direct personal meeting before any uncertainties reach the public area. Both sides declare that they never intended to engage in a public exchange of views or to create distrust, on the contrary, their aim was to ensure a peaceful upcoming summer season for children.
The joint declaration of the ÚVZ SR and RmS was established after a joint working meeting on 3. 7. 2025.
