It is already a tradition that LOP representatives come up with topics where the Ministry of Health finalises draft measures. Otherwise, this is not the case with the concept of operating urgent revenues. We have repeatedly seen that, in order to achieve their objectives, representatives of medical trade unions are trying to strike a wedge between individual groups of health workers.
Recently, they tried to do so in the case of outpatient and hospital pediatricians, now doctors from emergency hospitals in the Bratislava region became their target. Despite the fact that the Ministry's representatives are trying to make a constructive approach, the LOC leadership, despite repeated calls, does not come up with concrete and constructive proposals, but only general phrases, negativism and rejection of the measures offered.
The Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic has been working on a new concept of the operation of urgent revenues for several months and the first measures should enter into force within the next weeks.
Several expert working meetings have been held in the Ministry in recent months, including working meetings with the directors of all hospitals in the establishment area of MZ SR and primary incomes and in the preparation of the new concept, the minister personally visited some urgent revenue.
The Ministry has identified potential financial resources that can serve to modernise and build urgent revenues in hospitals. These days, negotiations are under way with partners to determine the final source of funding. At the same time, in the coming days, the Ministry will include in the internal commentary procedure a measure aimed at strengthening the staffing provision of urgent revenue, thereby creating scope for increasing the number of doctors serving urgent incomes.
The provision of urgent health care will also be extended in Bratislava and Bratislava region since September. The general health insurance company signed a contract with the Hospital Bory, which will enable the hospital to open another emergency reception in Bratislava. Before that, the Ministry will present an amendment to the government regulation for the next discussion of the Government of the Slovak Republic, which will include the new urgent income in the fixed network of emergency in Slovakia. This step will significantly improve the situation at the emergency in Bratislava.
