PUBLIC HEALTH priorities
It is clear that the European project for the benefit of citizens must focus on Public health. Priorities in this area will focus on patient and innovation. The Luxembourg Presidency will make every effort to facilitate the establishment of a strong regulatory framework giving European citizens rapid access to safe and high-quality medical devices while promoting innovation and the competitiveness of the European market. The Luxembourg Presidency will initiate the process of improving access to personalised medicine and the process of adopting an innovative approach to solutions dementia. The Presidency will assess the management of the epidemic Ebola and will also look at improving the protection of European citizens nuclear or a radiation accident.
