The Ministry of Health has complied with potential applicants and extended the deadline for the submission of applications under the call for the renewal of the home nursing network. Eligible entities will be able to apply for the Mechanism for a month longer until 30 November 2022.
Through the extended call of the health department, it supports home nursing agencies, which can apply for subsidies on material and technical equipment. A total of EUR 3.2 million is allocated to the call, with a maximum amount of EUR 40 400 per application.
Through the extension of the call, the health resort responds to the weaker availability of home care network in Slovakia. The lack of representation of home healthcare agencies is also based on international comparisons. Just to illustrate, home nursing capacity in our country uses about 30 percent less population than in the Czech Republic.
