In less than three months since the launch of the first calls in the Ministry of Health, dozens of subjects have been involved in the Recovery and Resilience Plan of Slovakia. On the last day of September, exactly 222 requests were registered by the Ministry. The Ministry records the highest interest in the training of health professionals and the expansion of the home nursing network. The Ministry assumes further demand for both declared and prepared calls. Three mental health care challenges and a delayed call for the construction and reconstruction of hospitals will soon be launched.
From July to September, the Ministry of Health announced a total of six calls from the Recovery and Resilience Plan of Slovakia. The challenges relate to the digitisation of health care, the expansion of home care networks or mobile hospices, as well as the promotion of new clinics in general medicine. Two challenges concerned the training of mental health professionals.
High demand was recorded by the Ministry, for example, in expanding the mobile hospice network. At the end of September, the number of applications was double that expected, while the call remains open. In the number of applications, two educational challenges and the expansion of the home nursing network are most successful. According to the resort, the interest in the already announced calls will continue to increase. This illustrates the call to encourage the emergence of new general offices. Although the call was only announced on 30 September 2022, on that day the resort registered the first demand.
The call for construction and reconstruction of hospitals for projects above EUR 5 million was to be announced on 30 September 2022. Despite the fact that all the State organisations involved or the services participating in the preparation of the call have done their utmost, the original indicative deadline has not been reached.
Department's sorry for the delay. The call should be launched soon. Potential applicants are asked by the Department to use the period until the call is made to prepare applications in the context of a government-approved methodology that is publicly available. Setting or focusing the challenge does not change in content. In case the candidates were going to send partial parts of the request for assessment, the resort is asking for patience, as the assessment process is suspended at the moment. It also wants to assure applicants that the next steps will be informed in a timely and sufficient manner.
