The Ministry of Health continues to invest in the care of the most vulnerable groups. Following calls to strengthen the presence of a network of mobile hospices or home care, the resort will support the expansion and modernisation of the network of stone hospices. From the plan of restoration and resilience of the Slovak Republic to the development of palliative care plans to invest 12.5 million Euro.
In particular, the expansion of community palliative care capacities will reduce regional differences in the choice of place of living in terminally ill patientsSays Ján Krajči, Director-General of the Implementation Section of the Recovery and Resilience and Reform Plan. To restore the already existing hospices an additional 5.7 million Euro. Overall, 12.6 million euros will travel to improve and expand the network of facilities for the most vulnerable groups.
