The Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic, in connection with the implementation of the national project committed to the establishment of the National Mental Health Support Line, occupies the following posts:
The aim of the National Mental Health Support Line is to promote mental health through the provision of distance advice in a combined form of telephone and online advice on mental health, namely providing psychological advice, crisis intervention and a safe space for discussing uncertainties, concerns or psychological problems, supporting health professionals who are experiencing an excessive burden and are subject to an increased likelihood of developing stress-related psychological disorders, providing advice and support to manage acute stress response or symptoms of developing post-traumatic stress response to extreme stress events, and providing advice on the problematic survival of their own sexuality or sexuality of close individuals through anonymous distance advice online by linking them to crisis intervention and therapy options.
