Notification to manufacturers or importers of medicinal products and dietetic foods of the submission of price data by the manufacturer or importer in the relevant national currency after 1.1.2009

The Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic reports that due to the harmonisation of the data on the reference exchange rates declared by the European Central Bank (ECB) and taken over by Národná banka Slovenska (NBS), which are calculated against one euro, is required in Annex 3 to Expert Guideline No MZSR No 25887/2008 of the OCTLP of 11.12.2008 and in the Specification of data sets for the categorisation of dietetic foods after 1.1.2009 to Expert Guideline No 07108/2008- OKCLP of 31.1.2008, Foreign exchange rates are converted according to the relationship: 1 / exchange rate declared by the ECB and by NBS.

Example:

1 BGN = €1 / 1.9558 = €0.5113. (where 1,9558 is the reference exchange rate declared by the ECB on 26 January 2009)
