Thanks to the funds from the recovery plan, the Ministry of Health startedprovide a non-refundable financial contribution of up to EUR 60 624 to support the establishment of new general offices in the districts where they are missing today. The aim of the measure is to motivate young professionals and professionals to choose a career path of a general doctor or a pediatrician, thus supporting the creation of new general offices across Slovakia.
More than 10 million euros by the end of 2025 are allocated in the Recovery Plan to support the emergence of new offices. In 2023, the Ministry of Health plans to support the emergence of at least 30 new clinics of general medicine and paediatrics in endangered districts.
