The Minister of Health of the Slovak Republic appointed today, November 14, 2023, to the position of director of the Faculty Hospital in Trencin Ing. Michal Plesník. He took up his duties for a fixed period, until the post was filled by a successful tenderer in accordance with Article 5 (9) of Act No. 552/2003 Coll. on the performance of public service tasks.
Michal Plesník graduated from the University of Economics and Finance in Brno. Since 2016 he worked in Trenčín hospital in several positions.
The director of the health department also withdrew from his post as director of Ing. Tomáš Janik, who managed the hospital since August 2020 in accordance with the provision of § 100 (2) of Act No. 578/2004 Coll. on Healthcare Providers.
