The Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic and the Hospital with Polyclinic Spišská Nová Ves, a. s. after a thorough examination of the request for a change of project, signed the Supplement to the contract for the provision of funds to the mechanism. This ultimately means that this project will continue to operate within the deadlines and conditions under the Recovery and Resilience Plan. In 2026 there will be a part of the project that is being reconstructed and the new construction will be in the rough construction phase.
Such requests for project change are a normal part of the implementation of the Recovery and Resilience Plan. The objective is to provide maximum support to beneficiaries for projects to be completed as soon as possible, in full compliance with the terms of the Recovery and Resilience Plan.
Hospital with a clinic Spišská Nová Ves will provide 155 new and renovated beds, which is very significant for the region of Spišská Nová Ves. The successful completion of this regional project is a key task in modernising hospitals from the Recovery and Resilience Plan. If necessary, the MZ SR will also treat the other beneficiaries on the basis of the requests it assesses.
