Urgent reception in the hospital in Malacky will continue after 31 May 2023. After negotiations of the Minister of Health of the Slovak Republic Michal Palkovič with representatives of the University Hospital Bratislava and other Bratislava hospitals, a sufficient number of doctors have managed to serve on the Malacky emergency reception from 1 June 2023. This will ensure the availability of emergency health care for the inhabitants of Záhorie.
The Ministry of Health is interested in making urgent reception at Malacky Hospital available for patients until urgent reception at Bory Hospital opens. Therefore, in the course of April he presented an amendment to the government regulation for the discussion of the Slovak Government, which extended the period of inclusion of the type I Malik emergency into the emergency revenue network until the end of 2023.
