Minister of Health of the Slovak Republic Zuzana Dolinková appointed today, 30 November 2023, to the position of director of the Faculty Hospital Trnava MUDr. Daniel Žitňan, MPH. It is appointed for a fixed period, until the post has been filled by a successful tenderer in accordance with the provisions of § 5 (9) of Act No. 552/2003 Coll. on the performance of public service tasks, as amended.
Daniel Žitňan is a graduate of the University of Bratislava Medical School. He then obtained an accreditation in the field of General Orient, post-secondary testing in the field of children's ORL, social medicine and health organisation. He worked in management positions in several medical institutions.
At the same time, the director of the health department has withdrawn from the post of the current director of the statutory body of the Faculty Hospital Trnava, JUDr. Vladislav Šrojta in accordance with the provision of § 100 (2) of Act No. 578/2004 Coll. on Health Care Providers.
