The Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic regularly and intensively negotiates with representatives of outpatient or hospital doctors, as well as representatives of self-governing regions or hospitals. Otherwise, it is also not the case with the discussion of the new functioning of outpatient children. During the negotiations, the management of the health department seeks to maintain a substantive and technical discussion. That is why the Ministry must respond to at least some of the information that has come out of the mouth of the chief of Loz Peter Visolajsky today.
Supporting the emergence of new offices from the Recovery and Resilience Plan is a fiasco. Only 12 contracts were signed as of February.

To date, 21 contracts have been signed. A new call to support the emergence of new offices will be launched in August. At the same time the maximum amount of support was increased to 80 thousand Euro.

Hospitals cannot draw subsidies from the Recovery Plan when setting up new offices.

As long as hospitals are a provider of general outpatient care, they can already apply today for a contribution to the establishment of a new office in a scarce region. Hospital with a clinic in Považská Bystrica has already paid the first payment.

Due to the lack of pediatricians, children's departments in hospitals in Lučenec and Trebišov were closed.

The hospital in Lučenec temporarily limited the functioning of the children's bed room for the incapacity of two doctors. The reason for limiting the hospitalization of the children's department at Trebišov Hospital is the maternity leave doctor. The situation is due to change in September.

The Ministry must open a resident pediatrician's programme as soon as possible.

In June, an error in the law that came into it after negotiations and on a proposal from the medical trade unions at the end of last year was corrected. Candidates will be able to apply from 1 August when the amendment of the law will be effective, eliminating the error enforced by the LOC.
