The Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic and the National Health Information Centre highlight changes in ordering PCR testing and vaccination against COVID-19 disease. They will be paid from Saturday, December 16, 2023.
CVID-19 disease has become a current common flu-like respiratory disease. There are no restrictions in force with us or abroad. From 16 December 2023, a citizen will be able to apply for a PCR testNational Health Portal – NPZ– NPZ (top right on the main page – COVID vaccination testing). The doctor's indication, the exchange ticket, remains a condition.
Consequences of change in ordering
The NCZI information system will not inform the patient of the test result by SMS or e-mail, it will send it directly to his doctor who indicated the test. This resulted in better management of the patient by the treating physician.
Ordering vaccination against COVID-19
Ordering for vaccination will be available fromNational portal Health - NPZ(COVID section vaccination testing). For those who have not yet been allocated a deadline and are therefore in the so-called "Caskařany" SMS will be sent on the need to confirm their interest and register throughNational portal Health Þ NPZ. Alternatively, these candidates may also use vaccination without registration. For more information, see the Ministry of Health:https://www.health.gov.sk/?
Evidence of vaccination against COVID-19
After receiving vaccination against COVID-19 disease, NCZI will not issue a national certificate of vaccination carried out. There are currently no measures in force that would require such proof. The vaccination certificate shall be issued by the healthcare facility after the vaccination has been completed, the vaccination shall be registered in the eHealth system and accessible to citizens in their eZK, which they may consult throughNational Health Portal – NPZ.
