The event is organized every year on the occasion of the World Sisters' Day (12 May) Slovak Chamber of Sisters and Midwives. Among them, the State Secretary of the Health Department, who has a wealth of experience with this work, visited Senec.I am not hiding pleasures and thank you very much to the organizers for inviting me to this event, which I see as an opportunity to thank all sisters for their daily efforts to care for patients as best as possible and for everything they do to care for them"The Secretary of State stated.
In her speech, she assured the nurses that the health department is taking a lot of steps to improve their access to education, to facilitate their work and to reduce their administration, as well as to their dignified assessment: we are listening to you and we will listen to you. We have a common objective - that nurses have more room for dedication to the patient himself, that they hold a place for public health, that they are responsible for and that they are adequately paid for their work. Investment in health is not a black hole, but rather a great investment in the future for all of us.
The winners of this prestigious award in four categories: nurse from practice, manager, educator and for a lifetime benefit became 28 nurses and midwives from all over Slovakia. In the last category, the White Heart and the extraordinary award of the outstanding personality of nursing in Slovakia, Helena Gondárová Vyhničková, have been awarded for her amazing work. Congratulations to all appreciated.
