The Ministry of Health has updated and simplified the call to support the opening up of new general offices in the missing regions. The new challenge is more flexible and takes into account the comments of doctors and doctors as well as self-governing regions. More than nine million euros are currently allocated to the measure. The increased amount of the contribution shall be paid to the beneficiaries in one lump sum.
The recovery plan helps to make Slovakia a better country. Today we are translating further evidence: the second round of direct financial support for the new ambulances of general doctors for adults and children. I am pleased that we have managed to increase the maximum contribution to EUR 80,000 at NIKA in negotiations with the European Commission. Our overall objective is to support more than 120 new offices, which will help thousands of adults and children every day. said Vice Prime Minister for the Recovery and Resilience Plan and Use of Euro funds Lívia Vašáková.
I would also like to express my thanks to the municipalities that have been involved in improving this second challenge in this regard. It considers the current leadership of the Ministry of Health to be the most critical in the long term and therefore it is very important to support it, not only financially but also through further reform steps. The whole process of opening a new office is to be shortened as much as possible within two months. stressed the Minister of Health Michal Palkovič and thanked everyone who participated in her work.
After the first year of the call, the Ministry identified the potential to modify the call as part of its annual update. The proposed changes were communicated with self-governing regions, which had the opportunity to send their own proposals.
The most fundamental changes are:

In addition to adjusting the conditions in the call, the list of deprived districts with allocated contribution was also updated. The reason for its annual update is that the challenge responds dynamically to the real need for new doctors to arrive in different regions.
The objective of the measure financed by the Recovery and Resilience Plan of Slovakia is to increase the necessary capacity of the public minimum network of general outpatient care providers in scarce districts by supporting the establishment of new offices. The main purpose of the contribution is financial compensation for the costs of setting up and operating new offices.
From the outset, the challenge was to remove potential applicants from the bureaucratic burden. The new doctor will provide the Ministry with an application and 4 documents (the health care professional code issued by the Health Care Supervisory Authority, the data necessary for the issue of a criminal record, a local impact test and a summary declaration of honour). At the same time, in the process of setting up a new office, it is necessary to distinguish between business-related administration (foundation of s.r.o.), the provision of health care (acquiring permission to operate the office) and, conversely, the one associated with the call and the application process for a contribution.
