The Ministry of Health invites all interested persons interested in vaccination with Spikevax from the modern manufacturer to register for the first dose on Sunday 10 July 2022.Vaccine vaccination Spikevax currently takes place in 8 vaccination centres throughout Slovakia. Due to the current interest in vaccination with this substance and its storage chain, it will therefore be possible to apply the first dose by 29 July 2022. Therefore, the Ministry, in cooperation with the vaccination centres, opens the final dates for vaccination of the first doses. Specific dates for vaccination without registration are published on the Ministry's website. Registration via korona.gov.sk will be possible for the first dose by 10 July 2022 and for the booster dose by 8 August 2022. From 30 July 2022 only people who are waiting for a second dose or who are interested in a booster dose will be able to vaccinate with Spikevax. Vaccination of second and booster doses shall end on 27 August 2022. The expected date for the initiation of registration for Spikevax vaccination by the modern manufacturer is the end of summer. However, vaccine recipients will continue to be able to register for vaccination with Comirnate (Prieser/BioNTech), Nuvaxoid (Novax) and Janssen (Johnson&Johnson).
