Ladislav Slobodník, State Secretary of the Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic, adopted today at the Ministry of Representatives of the Union of Pensioners in Slovakia led by its chairman Michal Kotian.
The joint meeting included, in particular, the availability of medicines and medical devices for older people, as well as the level of premiums for healthcare provided. Problems and requests of representatives The units of pensioners in Slovakia were carefully heard. Seniors are an essential part of our society, we care about their opinions and health condition and therefore the Ministry is looking for and will seek solutions to make their lives easier and, above all, to ensure quality and safe health care for all seniors with a socially acceptable impact.
The Ministry is interested in conducting open dialogues with representatives of the Unity of Pensioners in Slovakia on a regular and joint basis to address the issue of healthcare provision from the perspective of the patient senior.
