The Ministry of Health has approved Priorized investment list, thus fulfilling the required milestone of the Slovakian Recovery and Resilience Plan. The quality of the individual projects was decisive in drawing up the list.
As funding from the Recovery and Resilience Plan is limited and investment debt in the health sector is far beyond the scope of the Recovery and Resilience Plan, in order to choose the appropriate form of financing, the projects were divided into three groups:

The aim of the project allocation is to avoid overlapping funding. The investment list may indicate to applicants the actual quality of their project and the corresponding location on the list of all projects.
However, it is also true that, after the call for new hospitals to be built, which, unlike the list, will be legally binding, all projects will be able to enter this call, regardless of which category and position they are currently in.
The Ministry will set clear rules for candidates, such as the quality of the project or the regional need. Among the most important criteria that can remove projects from the call is the deadline for the full completion of the project, the second quarter of 2026.
